Internet and wifi

You can access the internet with the eduroam wireless network at Murdoch’s Australian campuses and other participating institutions around the world.

Internet access is also available in the computer labs.

Connect to eduroam

Most devices, including mobile phones and tablets, can connect to eduroam without special software. See connecting to eduroam for instructions.

Once eduroam is set up on your device, you can log in with:

• Username: studentID@murdoch.edu.au
• Password: Your Murdoch password

If you are visiting from a participating institution, you can log in using your institution’s login details. For assistance with visitor access, submit a general enquiry.

Stay safe online

Protect your personal information online with these tips:

• make sure your password is strong and secure
• use multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available
• never share personal identity or banking information via phone, text or email
• be aware of email scams and attacks
• say no to pop-ups.
