Moving overseas to study is a big step in your child's learning journey, and we're here to help! We pride ourselves on our wide range of support services, designed to ensure every student thrives both academically and personally throughout their time studying with us.
Doctor appointments and medical treatment
Our students have access to a team of qualified and experienced doctors and nurses who are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. We have both male and female health practitioners with a variety of skills and experience to suit individual health needs.
Students can make doctor’s appointments on campus most days and a registered nurse is available for students and staff Monday to Friday through our walk-in triage clinic.
Chiropractic and psychology treatments
Our on-campus Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic (MUCC) is a state-of-the-art patient centred teaching clinic open to the Murdoch community and members of the public. Our friendly and highly skilled team offer high quality chiropractic care, with inter-professional referral or management as needed.
Murdoch Psychology Clinic provides a clinical service for students who are experiencing a range of problems including anxiety and depression.
Stay safe on and off campus
At Murdoch University, we take safety seriously. Our campus security team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services include security patrols of the campus and escorting students around campus after hours if they would like support. We also have a free app MurdochSafe, available for iPhone and Android, giving your child fast access to important emergency and security services on and off campus.
Adjusting to university life
We have a friendly team of support staff who help students settle in to student life, including a 24 hour phone helpline, free workshops to help with study skills, career counselling and advice, religious guidance for all faiths, course information and so much more.
