How to prepare for Orientation

  1. Ensure that you have your Murdoch University username ready
    You can find this on your Letter of Offer or Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
    Username=Your unique 8-digit student ID number@student.murdoch.edu.au

  2. Remember your password
    Or set one up here: goto.murdoch.edu.au/MurdochPassword

  3. Set up your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
    When you start at Murdoch University, MFA will be automatically enabled on your account. MFA provides an extra layer of protection against cyber-attacks and identity theft by requiring you to provide another form of authentication to verify your identity before accessing your online account. This authentication is often done using a one-time-sensitive verification code sent to you via an SMS text message or an authentication app.
    If you have not yet set up your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app, please follow the Step-by-Step Setup Guide here: goto.murdoch.edu.au/MFA
