At Risk Reporting
The At-Risk Reporting system is designed to identify students who may require additional academic and/or personal support. Submitting an at-risk report allows for timely, targeted assistance to be provided, ensuring students can access appropriate support services and stay on track with their studies.
Unit Coordinators can report concerns for their students, including:
- Academic literacy support
- Numeracy support
- Use of sources and artificial intelligence - This category directs students to the Navigating Academic Integrity workshop, which covers the topics listed below. Referred students will receive an email recommending that they attend the workshop.
- How to use sources appropriately in written work
- How to use AI effectively and ethically
- How to paraphrase effectively
- How to reference correctly, and confidently
- Non-submission or failing assessments
- Missing multiple classes
- Enrolment issues
- Wellbeing concerns & pastoral care
Once a report has been submitted, support staff at our TNE locations will contact the student to discuss their situation, and offer individualised support and advice.
Students who have been flagged as requiring support for paraphrasing and referencing will automatically be invited to attend a workshop on Navigating Academic Integrity run by Support for Learning.
