Science Behind Bars (18+ event)

Do you have what it takes to catch a killer?

Help catch the culprit by interviewing suspects, gathering evidence and analysing facts to bring the criminal to justice.

Are you interested in discovering the day-to-day life of a Forensic Scientist or Criminologist? Then join us for at our Science Behind Bars evening at Fremantle Prison.

Use a range of real-life forensic science techniques including fingerprinting, textile damage and hair analysis to solve a fictional murder of a prison guard. As you explore the science, enjoy a slice of pizza and a licensed bar while solving the crime. 

Throughout the evening, hear from eminent forensic scientists and get tips from a criminologist on how to avoid false confessions. There will be a Q & A and time to network over a beverage. 

Get in early, limited tickets available. Costumes encouraged. 

Participants will be entitled to discounts on tours of Fremantle Prison upon ticket purchase.
