Entry requirements
To receive an offer letter from Murdoch, you’ll need to satisfy our entry requirements and submit a formal application with all relevant supporting documents.
Entry requirements depend on which course you would like to study. Check our course pages to find out what qualifications you’ll need from your home country.
Information is also available on applying for an international student visa.
English requirements
To apply to study at Murdoch, you need to meet our English requirements by showing you’re competent in the English language.
English proficiency tests
While testing centres are closed during COVID-19, we are accepting a range of English language tests, including the internet-based Phoenix English Language Proficiency test.
Previous study at university
Even if you’ve been out of uni for a while, we’ll consider your previous study for entry. If it wasn’t too long ago, you might be able to get credits or exemptions towards your new degree, reducing the time it takes to graduate.
You can check what credits or exemptions from previous studies you may be eligible for using our Advanced Standing calculator.
Other admission pathways
We understand that not all students have had the same opportunities to help them achieve their academic potential. If you currently do not meet our minimum entry requirements, you can explore other admission pathways to help you qualify for a course.
Ready to apply?
If you’ve decided what to study and know the entry requirements for your course, take the next step and apply to Murdoch.
