- No lock-in contract – flexibility to cancel anytime, with no cancellation fees.
No fixed-term contract
The easiest way to join is via our no fixed-term contract. Benefits include:
- 24/7 Gym access
- Access to all group fitness classes
- Join and set up payment online.
- Choose from either weekly or fortnightly payments
- No cancellation fee. Cancel at any time with 14 days notice.
- Suspend your membership for up to 4 weeks at a time per year (fees may apply)
Upfront fix term 6 or 12 month contract
Save money and opt for either our 6 or 12 month upfront fix term contracts. All upfront contracts (excluding our Golden Oldies) offer 24/7 Gym access an free group fitness classes.

Student free time
If you are a current Murdoch student you can sign up for a free Gym membership which grants you access to the Murdoch Active Gym between 9am and 11am and 1pm to 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and free access to all our Murdoch Moves classes. Free time membership expiry on the 31 December each year and must be renewed.
Staff free time
If you are a current Murdoch staff member you can sign up for a free gym membership which grants you access to the Murdoch Active Gym between 7am and 9am Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and free access to all our Murdoch Moves classes. Free-time memberships expire on the 31 December and must be renewed every year.

Love training at Murdoch Active? Share the experience with a friend and be rewarded for helping grow our community.
When you refer a friend and they sign up for a paid membership, you'll receive 2 weeks FREE on your membership once they have completed their first four weeks as a member.
Whether they're new to fitness or looking for a supportive place to achieve their goals, Murdoch Active is the perfect place to start.
How It Works
- Refer a friend through our referral form or bring them into the gym.
- Your friend can claim a complimentary 1-day trial and experience our facilities.
- If they choose to join on a paid membership, we'll track their referral.
- Once they've been an active member for four weeks, you'll receive your referral reward.
Your Reward
Members can earn 2 weeks of free gym access for every successful referral.
Depending on your membership type, your reward will be applied as follows:
- Direct Debit Members: Membership payments will be frozen for 2 weeks.
- Upfront Members: Membership expiry date will be extended by 2 weeks.
- Free Members: Full gym access will be provided for 2 weeks.
The best part? There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer or the number of rewards you can earn.
Onsite locker hire
Lockers are available to hire for either three, six or twelve month periods. Booking must be made in person at our reception. Please refer to our fee schedule for prices.
**All paying gym members are eligible to receive a 5% discount on the listed prices
Casual gym or group fitness passes
If you would like occasional access to the gym or to join in with one of our group fitness sessions, then a casual pass may be what you need. Choose from a single, 5 or 10 pass option. Passes can be purchase at our reception or via our online portal. Please refer to our fee schedule for prices.
