Rowe Scientific Scholarship
The Rowe Scientific Scholarship was established to support two students studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry or a related field at either a bachelor or honours level. You will need to demonstrate a record of high achievement in previous studies and consideration will be given to those who are experiencing personal or financial challenges in undertaking their studies.
Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship you must:
- be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or NZ Citizen
- be enrolled at undergraduate or honours level at Murdoch University
- have a record of high achievement in previous studies
- intend to study a Chemistry major (including mineral processing, forensics and environmental science).
Consideration will be given to a student experiencing personal and/or financial hardship.

Complete the application form and attach the required supporting documents by the closing date.
Required Documents
This scholarship requires you to provide the following documents:- Completed online application form (you will have the opportunity to attach your supporting documents) OR;
- If you do not have a Murdoch login and cannot access the online application form, please use the PDF Application Form and email the completed form and your supporting documents to scholarships@murdoch.edu.au
- Supporting documents required as part of this application:
- Personal statement (maximum 1 x A4 page) outlining your dedication and commitment to study, and if applicable, how you have overcome significant personal challenges/financial hardships.
- Your CV / resume.
- Honours students only - attach written confirmation from your proposed supervisor confirming supervision of your project.
Payment Method
Payments will be made directly into your nominated bank account in the following instalments:
- $2,500 in week 7 or 8 of the semester you are awarded
- $2,500 in week 7 or 8 of the consecutive second semester
All payments are subject to your ongoing acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions of the award.
