Your medical record is a confidential document. We ensure that the security of your health information is maintained at all times. Confidential information is only available to authorised members of staff. We will not release your general, clinical or personal information without your consent or the consent of your treating doctor.
Privacy
As a patient of our Medical Service, you are required to provide us with your personal details and full medical history. This is so that we may properly assess, diagnose and treat you and be proactive in meeting your healthcare needs.
Only staff who need to see your personal information will have access to it. If we need to use your information for anything else, we will seek additional consent from you.
Our doctors use state and national registers such as the Australian Immunisation Registry and Cervical Smear Registry. If you do not wish to be part of this system please advise our reception staff.
We aim to ensure the privacy and secure storage of your health information. Our privacy policy includes information about the collection, use and disclosure of your health information.

Doctors are unable to take routine calls from patients during consulting hours. Urgent calls will be transferred to our nursing staff who will assess the clinical urgency and respond accordingly.
