Course description
K-Track is a course designed to enable Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students to qualify for entry into an undergraduate degree. The course is tailored specifically for students who would not otherwise qualify for entry. Through a series of units the course provides the skills necessary to succeed at university.
The course can be studied full-time over four days a week, Monday to Thursday, or part-time over two days a week, Monday and Tuesday in your first semester and Wednesday and Thursday in your second semester.
Some of the things you’ll learn
The K-Track course is designed to give you the skills and attributes you need to complete an undergraduate course at Murdoch University.
You will learn how to commit to your studies and manage yourself and your time to enable your success. You will explore the concepts of communication, collaborative work practices and critical thinking. The Writing Tool-kit unit introduces you to academic writing styles, referencing, essay writing and constructing arguments.

Entry requirements
To apply for the course you must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
You will be required to complete a writing activity before starting the course.
The course is aimed at students who are 17 years or older.
Course fees
K-Track is a fee-free course, so there is no cost to you.
K-Track is approved as a full-time study option by Centrelink so you can apply for payments if you meet other eligibility requirements.
