Murdoch University provides free chiropractic treatments at locations across the Perth metro area and in regional, rural and remote Western Australia.
Final year chiropractic students, supervised by registered chiropractors, deliver health screenings and chiropractic care to underserved communities. Our students gain hands-on experience while helping improve access to healthcare for people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
These free clinics are crucial because for many remote communities, it’s their only access to hands-on chiropractic care. It’s incredible seeing how our work can change lives in just a few days

St Patrick’s Community Support Centre
Provides holistic and allied health services to underprivileged and marginalised people across the South Metropolitan region and is part of the Australia-wide Hands on Health network.
South Lake Ottey Family and Neighbourhood Centre
Serves the whole community with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, promoting health, wellbeing, and family programs.
Palmerston Farm
A residential therapeutic community 25 minutes south of Perth, supporting adults in medium-term rehabilitation from substance use and abuse in a supportive, drug-free environment.

“Up North” Regional and Remote Outreach
Each year, chiropractic students and supervisors travel to rural and remote WA to provide health assessments and hands-on care.
Since the program began in 2006, our students have delivered over 30,000 health checks and treatments in communities including Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Wakathuni, Bellary Springs, Newman, Jigalong, Geraldton, Mt Magnet, Meekatharra, Carnarvon, Karratha and Kununurra. For many residents, these outreach clinics are their only access to chiropractic care.
These placements help equip students with the skills, confidence and understanding needed to provide culturally safe and sensitive care in underserved communities.
The program is currently delivered in partnership with the Australian Chiropractors Association, WA Centre for Rural Health, Marjarlin Kimberley Centre for Remote Health, Broome Circle and the Shires of Broome and Derby.
