What is a Major?
A major is your primary area of focus within a degree. It determines the core subjects you'll study and the skills you'll master.

Major overview

Our Corporate Sustainability Management major develops advanced capabilities to design, evaluate, and communicate sustainability performance across organisations and supply chains. By integrating business strategy, data analytics, and environmental management, we prepare you to lead the transition toward responsible and resilient business models.

You'll gain practical expertise in ESG strategy and reporting, sustainability risk assessment, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder engagement, supported by strong foundations in corporate responsibility, governance, and ethical leadership. Through applied projects and analytical tools, you'll learn to evaluate sustainability metrics, develop business cases, and communicate outcomes using recognised reporting standards.

As one of the two majors you'll complete in the Master of Decarbonisation, Energy and Sustainability Management, Corporate Sustainability Management can be paired with Strategic Decarbonisation, Renewable and Sustainable Energy, or Sustainable Cities and Infrastructure, letting you build a cross-disciplinary skill set suited to your career goals.
