Our disciplines

Students wishing to study Business have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills across a number of disciplines including Accounting, Banking, Business Law, Economics, Management, Human Resource Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, International Business and Marketing. Postgraduate qualifications are available in the fields of Business Administration, Professional Accounting, Human Resource Management and International Marketing. Postgraduate units are offered in the evening to suit the busy professional, as well as via flexible delivery modes. The School also offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in Politics and International Studies, Security Terrorism and Counter Terrorism Studies, Sustainable Development, and International Aid and Development. The Sir Walter Murdoch School of Public Policy and International Affairs offers Programs in Public Policy and Management, Development Studies, International Affairs, and Health Policy and Leadership.

We offer wide range of international study options including In Country Studies and Internships in Indonesia through ACICIS.

A new state-of-the-art building was opened in late 2010, with modern, functional learning facilities for the School of Business and Governance students.

Many of our scholars are leaders in their field who are widely published and recognized internationally. Within our disciplines, we have research strengths in key areas including behavioural economics, neuro-marketing, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, development studies and South East Asian politics.
