The School of Arts offers a broad range of stimulating and innovative courses within creative arts, media and communication, social sciences and humanities at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. Our courses prepare students for the workforce by providing a strong foundation of theoretical learning, hands on practical content, industry placements, and global internship opportunities.
We offer students the opportunity to learn in industry-standard studios, media labs and equipment for courses such as Screen Production, Sound, Radio, Journalism, Web Communication, Graphic Design, and Games Art and Design. Our theatres and drama workshop offer traditional and experimental spaces for the development of the performing arts. World class research and scholarship underpin our social sciences and humanities teaching, with particular focus on links with the Asia region through the Asia Research Centre and courses in Asian studies and languages.
The School’s commitment to interdisciplinary research and practice allows students to immerse themselves within various perspectives and disciplines, supporting them to become active global citizens.
