The MasterClass Program

MasterClass is more than just a postgraduate qualification it offers leadership and interpersonal development sessions throughout the year and provides networking opportunities with employers from all fields.

If you're selected as a MasterClass student, you can graduate with two qualifications - your undergraduate degree and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. You'll need to complete four 3-point units from, over two winter and summer terms. Then, when you complete your undergraduate degree, you'll also be awarded with a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration at the time of your graduation.

The MasterClass program is designed so you can fast-track your studies and become an even more attractive candidate for employers - what ever your chosen field.

One of the greatest advantages of being a MasterClass student is the chance to complement your undergraduate degree with a new set of skills which would be an invaluable addition to any degree - and is sure to give you an edge when it's time to pursue the career of your dreams!

MBS5072 Strategic Marketing Management
This unit introduces students to the theories, tools and principles of marketing and their application to marketing strategy and planning, understanding market characteristics, branding, customer satisfaction and loyalty, marketing communications, marketing products and services.
MBS5392 Accounting for Managers
This unit provides a basic grounding in the accounting processes required to support effective management decisions and reporting in organisations. You will learn relevant accounting terms and principles and their application to preparation of reports and budgets, analysing financial statements, and the role of accounting in decision making and governance in organisations.
MBS6872 Effective Leadership
As a prospective or emerging leader in business, your field of professional practice or the community, you will learn the differences between traditional theories and ideas of leadership and alternative perspectives on distributed and adaptive leadership. You will be asked to explore your own leadership capabilities and values as a platform for understanding how to be an effective leader, whilst occupying different roles in organisations and the broader community.

This unit will introduce you to theories and tools for understanding and managing people, structures, change processes and culture in organisations
MBS5872 Effective Leadership
