Overview
OnTrack Sprint is an intensive 4-week enabling course that qualifies you to apply directly for any undergraduate degree at Murdoch University requiring a Selection Rank of 70 or less. See what courses you could be eligible for.
The course provides an adult learning environment in which you can:
- develop effective study habits and learning strategies
- access tuition to develop your academic skills to an undergraduate level
- build a network of peer and academic support at Murdoch University.
OnTrack Sprint is open to Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, as well as people who have arrived in Australia under a humanitarian or refugee program. To be eligible for the Semester 1, 2020 intake, you must have completed Year 12 in the past 18 months.

You must be able to meet a minimum standard in English to study at Murdoch, which may include the successful completion of a variety of English proficiency tests.

Other requirements
- Unless applying via the Recent Secondary Education path, applicants must provide the following information: a 300 word personal statement outlining why you wish to become a nurse and how you consider your past study and experience will help you succeed in the nursing course and previous transcripts of study. Assessment is based upon academic standard, and your personal statement.
- Students will be required to meet WA Department of Health vaccination requirements, students will be required to provide copies of a current CPR certificate, Working with Children Card, Department of Health WA Criminal Screening Card and Manual Handling Certificate and successful completion of the School of Health Professions Maths Competency. Potential students who have medical conditions, disabilities or who are concerned about their ability to meet the practical requirements of the course, should read the Inherent Requirements for the course.
- You must provide evidence of immunisation to comply with Category A, Schedule 1 of Murdoch University's Immunisation Policy.
- Places in this course are limited.
- Students are required to have access to a smart device that is capable of using app-based software systems.

How much will it cost?

Instead of paying an overall course fee, you pay for the individual units you enrol in. The total course cost will vary depending on the units you choose.
Following your successful application, you’ll receive a Letter of Offer which will contain specific course and fee information.
If you are applying for an undergraduate course, you may be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place. Postgraduate programs are full fee paying, unless indicated otherwise in your Letter of Offer.
