Learn how to turn complex data into clear insights that support better decisions. With a Business Intelligence major as part of our Bachelor of Data Analytics, you’ll build the skills to analyse, interpret and present data in ways that inform strategy across business, government and industry.
Throughout your business intelligence course, you’ll develop core skills in business analytics, data mining and data visualisation, working with industry-standard tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Java. You’ll also explore emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, and learn how data is used to support systems, operations and organisational strategy.
Designed in collaboration with industry partners, this major focuses on solving real-world problems and communicating insights clearly. You’ll learn from practising information technology (IT) experts and gain hands-on experience in our IT Innovation Hub, applying your skills using advanced data infrastructure in practical, industry-relevant environments.
You can combine this major with others in your data analytics degree to tailor your studies to your interests and career goals. Pair Business Intelligence with Data Science to build advanced analytical and modelling skills, or with FinTech to apply data insights in financial and technology-driven settings.
