The MU Business Alumni Network invites you to the next session of the 2026 Entrepreneur Workshop Series:

"Yes, and..."

Aden Date is a Perth-based performing artist, author of Funny Business, consultant, founder of Only the Human, and has spoken on ABC several times on the importance of play in adulthood. He works with teams who need to think differently and communicate better, drawing on applied improvisation, cognitive science, and progressive work design.

In this session, Aden draws on his experience building and running a business in the performing arts to explore how improvisation teaches us to sit with ambiguity when there is no clear path, how to adapt when plans fall apart, how to build teams that can think on their feet, and how to create the conditions where new ideas surface naturally.
