Course overview
Murdoch University works with participating FlexiTrack High secondary schools to provide a structured and supportive learning experience for students seeking an alternative option to the ATAR entry pathway into university. This is a chance to gain essential skills, bolster confidence and get a tangible feel of university-style learning while studying in high school. The program is delivered as a blended program utilising both online independent study and dedicated class time at each partner school. Over a period of 30 weeks, FlexiTrack High focuses on developing a student’s academic skills as well as the self-regulation and independent learning competencies needed to successfully undertake tertiary study.
Dates: Week commencing 2nd February 2026 to 25th September 2026
Cost: $300 (Fully funded scholarships are available to equity students)
To succeed you must be committed to attending FlexiTrack High classes during Terms 1, 2 and 3 while you’re completing Year 12 as well as studying independently and during the term breaks.
You will be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course at Murdoch University if you successfully pass FlexiTrack High and meet attendance requirements. As FlexiTrack High attracts WACE points it is assumed that you will complete Year 12.
