Reserved Rights

With respect to the University's obligations under the Broadcasting Services Amendment (Online Services) Act, 1999, the University reserves the right to block access to, or to alter, or remove any content, or information within that content, from computers on the Murdoch University Network, should that content be the subject of a Take-Down Notice from the  Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). The University will endeavour to liaise with the Web Administrator responsible for the Server to ensure that appropriate action is taken in the required timeframe.

The University reserves the right to monitor all use of its computer systems and communication networks through authorised Systems Administrators. This includes monitoring files retrieved from Servers, or uploaded to Servers, when excessive traffic is reported via the Communications network traffic accounting system for the Murdoch University Network.
