Small Animal Referral Services - Ophthalmology
The Ophthalmology Clinic at Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital provides a referral service for the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease in companion animals primarily dogs, cats and horses.
The clinic is run by Dr Zigrida Chester who sees cases that require diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of ocular conditions including hereditary eye disease, traumatic eye injuries, corneal ulcers, acquired infectious and immune-mediated ocular conditions, cataracts and glaucoma. Microsurgical procedures such as corneal grafts and cataract surgery are regularly undertaken.
Make a referral, or make an appointment on 1300 652 494.
Referral is not necessary for dog breeders requiring routine pre-breeding eye examinations.
