Articulations

Murdoch University is committed to supporting and promoting the development of pathways that forge closer connections between senior secondary education, VET and higher education institutions. It recognises that the development of structured arrangements to link learning programs and qualifications both across sectors and between institutions is a key process in facilitating lifelong learning and strengthening collaboration. The responsibility for determining the award of credit for particular qualifications, in accordance with the Rules on Credit and Exemptions, rests with the Committee on University Entrance (CUE).

In order to assess a qualification for articulation purposes, the following information is required:

Name and address of institution
Contact details, including email address
Brief description of the institution and courses offered
Details of accreditation by external bodies
Name of course and award to be evaluated
Entry requirements into the program
Study plan, including list of subjects covered every semester
Subject content, including objectives, content, text books used, assessment breakdown
Current number of students in the program
Existing articulations with other universities
Proposed Murdoch University program

Once all of the above information has been provided, EPSC will liaise with the relevant school(s) regarding the proposed articulation, in order to seek assessment of the materials.

If the school supports the proposed articulation, the proposal must be submited for consideration and approval by CUE.

Institutions wanting to propose an articulation should submit the above materials to EPSC via email: articulations@murdoch.edu.au

For information regarding the approval process and appropriate forms, please see the CUE website.
