Murdoch University Veterinary Trust
Officially established in 1998, the Murdoch University Veterinary Trust raises funds to ensure the College of Veterinary Medicine and veterinary hospital, The Animal Hospital, remain centres of excellence providing world class veterinary education, research and animal health services.
To date, the Vet Trust has donated nearly $4 million to support Veterinary Science at Murdoch University.
Along with the training of undergraduate students in Veterinary Science, the College of Veterinary Medicine and the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences are heavily involved with research into both animal and human diseases, and in the training of specialist veterinarians.
The College's veterinary hospital, The Animal Hospital, employs staff in many areas of expertise including small animal medicine and surgery, small animal emergency medicine, equine medicine and surgery, and production animal medicine and surgery.
Thanks to the support of generous individuals and organisations, the Murdoch University Veterinary Trust is able to make strategic investments in the College of Veterinary Medicine that advance the health and welfare of animals through international excellence in veterinary science.
