Welcome to the School of Health Professions

The School of Health Professions is comprised of Nursing and Midwifery, Chiropractic and Counselling disciplines, with students completing undergraduate and postgraduate courses at both the South Street and Peel campuses.

The School is proud to provide students pursuing a career in these areas with some of the best learning and development resources in the state. Nursing and midwifery students at our Peel campus have access to two 12-bed clinical demonstration wards equipped with state-of-the-art teaching facilities and high tech audiovisual equipment.

Chiropractic students hone their skills at the Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic (MUCC), which is both a teaching facility and professional treatment centre. This modern, custom designed clinic at the South Street campus features 13 large, modern chiropractic treatment rooms, a digital Radiology Lab and Rehabilitation Centre.

Our Counsellor Training Centre, Caladenia Counselling, provides professional counselling services to the public as well as experiential training opportunities for counselling students, who work with real clients, via a Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) accredited course.
