About me

To teach and share learning is a joy. The need for people to understand, trust and question scientific knowledge is a powerful source of motivation for me. The expanse of science is relevant to everyone and the story needs to be told well.

I have wide experience in teaching and learning, university management, clinical sciences and medical research. My specialist areas are infectious diseases, public health and laboratory medicine. I am very focused on the needs of students and designing classes that are both engaging and challenging.

In my role as School Dean, I aim to support staff and students in achieving their goals and contributing to the University community.
