Welcome to the Asia Pacific Centre for Media Economics and Communication Management Research

The Centre is a collaborative venture between researchers in Murdoch University’s School of Arts, and the School of Economics and Management at the Communication University of China in Beijing.

Researchers are interested in exploring how and what China and Australia might learn from each other, as each nation attempts to preserve and sustain its cultural heritage and national identity, in an environment of increasingly converged digital media, ubiquitous online access and bilateral free trade agreements. The Centre was established in 2012 and is associated with Murdoch’s Asia Research Centre.
