FlexiTrack is a university preparation course that qualifies you to apply directly for any undergraduate degree at Murdoch University that has an indicative ATAR of 70 or less.

Have you ever dreamed about going to uni but current circumstances won't let you come to campus? If you need to get into university, but cannot attend study on campus, then FlexiTrack might be for you.

FlexiTrack will provide you with:

  • The tuition you need to boost your academic skills, knowledge and understandings to an undergraduate level
  • The opportunity to achieve entry to your selected university degree
  • A supportive, adult learning environment in which to fine tune your study habits and learning strategies
  • A network of peer and academic support at Murdoch University

How much does it cost?

FlexiTrack is a fee-free course so there is no cost to you.

What is my commitment?

We understand that many students have all sorts of things going on in their lives. You have the flexibility of intensive, part-time or full-time study depending on your commitments.

Students must complete all four modules and can choose the pacing between 10 weeks and 50 weeks.

The minimum time to complete all 4 modules is 10 weeks (1 teaching period). The maximum time to complete the program is 50 weeks (5 teaching periods) .

FlexiTrack - Intensive Mode

  • Student must be enrolled in 4 units in 1 teaching period.
  • Be available to commit 10 weeks (please note this mode requires a high time commitment)
  • FlexiTrack is not currently accepted by Centrelink for full-time study benefits
  • Want to study an undergraduate degree course at Murdoch University

FlexiTrack - Full Time

  • Student must be enrolled in 4 units across 2 consecutive teaching periods.
  • Be available to commit 20 (2 teaching periods) weeks to complete topics and assignments online
  • FlexiTrack is not currently accepted by Centrelink for full-time study benefits
  • Want to study an undergraduate degree course at Murdoch University

FlexiTrack - Part Time

  • Student must complete 4 units within 5 teaching periods. You can choose to have a break in between teaching periods but all four units must be completed at the end of 50 weeks.

  • Be able to commit study time within 50 weeks (from the commencement of the first module) to complete topics and assignments online
  • Want to study an undergraduate degree course at Murdoch University

Am I eligible to apply?

FlexiTrack is a supportive program designed to provide preparation and access to people who aspire to achieve a university degree but do not qualify for direct entry into Murdoch University.

You are eligible to apply for FlexiTrack if you:

  1. Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold a Permanent Residency or Humanitarian Visa
  2. Are beyond compulsory school age:
    • You are over 18 years of age OR
    • You have completed year 12 OR
    • You will be at least 17 years and 6 months old by 1st January in the year you will undertake FlexiTrack
  3. Are ready to undertake pre-university study and have demonstrated this by:
    • You have completed year 11 or year 12 and have achieved 'B' or higher in general English or a 'D' or higher in ATAR English OR
    • You have completed any Certificate III, any Certificate IV or Certificate II in General Education for Adults OR
    • You have achieved 130 or more for the written component or 125 or more for the mutiple choice component of the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) OR
    • You do not have any of the above qualifications but you are willing to undertake a FlexiReady Readiness Evaluation. Submit an application to study FlexiTrack to receive information on how to complete the FlexiReady Readiness Evaluation.
