Richard Duldig

Richard Duldig

Director, Executive Education

Richard joined Murdoch after ten years with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Prior to his role as AIM's Deputy Executive Director, he held senior management and Director positions with ICI (Dulux) Australia, WA Tourism Commission and the Vines Resort. Richard has been on a number of Boards, the most recent being Chair of the Black Swan State Theatre Company.

Whilst at AIM, Richard successfully led and managed a team of professionals in the delivery of all aspects of executive education. He has worked with large and small clients in the private and government sectors, promoting a partnership philosophy to ensure that the services provided by his team for these organisations created the capability for innovation and growth within the organisation.

Michael Connor

Michael has recently returned from eight years in Singapore where he was Assistant Professor in the division of Strategy, Management and Organization at Nanyang Business School (NBS).

In addition to teaching and research, he was active in consulting and executive coaching in a variety of industries and firms across the Asia-Pacific region. As Communications Director for NBS's Office for Executive Education, he developed a comprehensive understanding of executive and professional development.

Before going to Singapore, Michael held positions as a lecturer at the University of Melbourne (where he earned his PhD), and at Deakin and Murdoch Universities. His background also includes roles as a professional editor, Communications Manager and Consultant, and Client Manager.

Karen Thompson

Karen loves meeting people and helping them shape their lives, careers and organisations. Previously WA State Manager of Aquent, the global marketing recruitment company, her diverse career also includes roles in media, property development, FMCG and engineering.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing Management) from Murdoch University, is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practising Marketer. In recent years she has been on advisory boards and committees for Curtin University and ECU.

Karen regularly presents to organisations, industry associations and student groups on a variety of topics including career planning, social media, personal branding and relationship management.

Sonya Davies

Sonya Davies

Client Manager, Peel/Rockingham Regions

Sonya's background as a consultant, business director and mentor is coupled with a sound understanding of the challenges of business and regional sustainability. A valued member of the local community for over 20 years, she is currently an Advisory Member of the Peel Community Foundation and Member of the Peel Chamber of Commerce.

Sonya holds a Master of Health Services Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Administration, a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) and a Certificate IV Training and Assessment.

Sonya is focused on providing consultative and collaborative partnerships that will deliver growth for organisations and individuals, underpinned by the sustainability needs of the Peel Region.
