Doctors’ appointments

Doctors’ appointments are available at the South Street Campus most days. You’ll need a doctor’s appointment for:

  • Prescriptions
  • Pap smears
  • Specialist referrals
  • Investigations like blood tests, scans, lumps/ bumps and or skin checks
  • Sexual health screening
  • Immunisations
  • Mental health care plans
  • Travel health
  • Dive medicals

Nurse triage

A registered nurse is available for students and staff Monday to Friday via a walk in triage clinic.  Daily nurse triage times are 8.30am to 9.00am for fasting blood tests, 9am to12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm for all other health needs.

First aid is available from 8.30am to 4.30pm during normal clinic opening hours.

The nurse is able to assist with:

  • First Aid
  • Information about general health and wellbeing
  • Dressings and wound care
  • Immunisations and injections
  • Routine sexual health screening
  • Healthy lifestyle consultations
  • Travel health advice
  • Pathology ( eg blood tests)
  • ANY health issue which is of concern to you
