Andrew Lua, 27, graduated from Murdoch University in 2004. Currently a full time actor and host, he credits Murdoch University for allowing him to pursue his passion in acting and performance by giving him many opportunities during his time as a student.
Since graduating, Andrew has chalked up an impressive resume including Macdonald’s and Starhub commercials, short films and host roles for weddings and road shows.
Life at Murdoch
Andrew describes his fondest memories of Murdoch as - “Editing in the studios till 3am in the morning, leaving the computer on to render, gathering a bunch of friends who are also editing, driving all the way to Garden City for supper, rehearsing and mucking around in the Nexus theatre preparing for opening night.”
Why Murdoch?
“It offered a comprehensive fusion of film and theatre that had a well balanced theoretical and practical approach. Furthermore, it allowed the course structure to be individually crafted to suit my interests.”
