How it works

We think the best people to give you real, honest advice about life at Murdoch are our students. Our student bloggers include:

  • Our official Murdoch bloggers for 2010Jess Eaton and Jonathan Gurney took part in our blogging competition last year and won the roles of 'official' Murdoch student bloggers. In between assignments and exams, Jess and Jonathan write regular blogs about uni life. It’s a paid role as they spend time each week creating blog posts, answering questions and managing Twitter and Facebook accounts.
  • Our endorsed bloggers – These bloggers were handpicked from our blogging competition last year: they love writing and sharing their experiences. Our endorsed bloggers don’t have paid roles, but they were have been given book vouchers at the beginning of the year to thank them for sharing their experiences with you.

Our commitment to you

  • We don’t censor blogs or blog comments. The only exception to this rule is if someone posts content that we feel is illegal, or offensive or is against our blogging guidelines. As with many other websites (e.g. Flickr and Facebook), this type of content will be reported and removed.
  • We don’t tell our bloggers what to write. Sometimes we might ask them to share their thoughts on a particular issue or event that we think you’d be interested in hearing about, but they can blog about any topic.
  • You’re invited to get involved. If you have questions about uni life, this is your chance to ask a community of students who are going through it right now.
