Step 1

  • Make sure you have checked you are eligible to make an online application (see below).

Step 2

  • Visit the courses section to find the name and course code of the course you wish to apply for.
  • Make sure you supply your academic transcript. If you have this in a suitable electronic format (Word, PDF etc) you will be able to upload it with your application. For certain courses there may be additional requirements; we’ll contact you if we need more information.
  • If we require the original or certified copies of you documents, you can post or deliver these to: The Student Centre, Murdoch University, South Street, Murdoch,WA 6150.
  • All Honours applications EXCEPT Psychology Honours should complete and attach the Honours Proposal Form to their online application.

Are you eligible to apply online?

Undergraduate Courses

Applications for undergraduate degrees can be made for either Semester 1 or Semester 2 teaching periods.

  • During August to January, applications for Semester 1 must be made through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC)
  • Applications outside of this date for admission to Semester 1 can be made through our online application tool
  • Semester 2 applications can be made all year round using our online application tool.

Honours Courses
Applications can be made for either Semester 1 or Semester 2 teaching periods and applications can be submitted to our online application tool.

Postgraduate Courses

Applications for admission to coursework postgraduate courses can be made using our online application tool

All applications for Postgraduate courses will require academic transcripts for assessment. Some Postgraduate courses require additional documentation

All Murdoch Business School applications require a Current CV

Postgraduate Counselling courses require the following documents:

Postgraduate Psychology courses EXCEPT the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology require the following documents:

  • Referees Report (DOC, 117KB)
  • Current CV and Personal Statement of no more than 750 words

Applications for the Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary and Secondary) courses no longer go through TISC. All applications for Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary and Secondary) courses are to be made all year round using our online application tool. The following documents will be required:

  • 25th October 2013: Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling, Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Master of Counselling
  • 31st October 2013: Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Studies in Conservation Medicine and Masters of Veterinary Studies in Conservation Medicine
  • 29th November 2013: Psychology Honours Applications
  • 30th of November 2013: Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Studies in Small Animal Practice and Masters of Veterinary Studies in Small Animal Practice
  • 17th January 2014: Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice
  • 31st of January 2014: Master of Veterinary Studies in Veterinary Surveillance
