Applying online

Semester 1, 2012 has started.

Applications submitted after Monday 20 February will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to try and help minimise the impact of starting late as classes also start on 20 February. If you've got questions about applying for Semester 1, 2012 or an existing application please call 1300 MURDOCH (1300 687 3624).

Step 1

  • Make sure you have checked you are eligible to make an online application (see below).

Step 2

  • Visit the courses section to find the name and course code of the course you wish to apply for.
  • Make sure you supply your academic transcript. If you have this in a suitable electronic format (Word, PDF etc) you will be able to upload it with your application. For certain courses there may be additional requirements; we’ll contact you if we need more information.
  • If we require the original or certified copies of you documents, you can post or deliver these to: The Student Centre, Murdoch University, South Street, Murdoch,WA 6150.
  • If you are an Honours applicant, please ensure that you complete and attach the Honours Proposal Form.

Are you eligible to apply online?

Undergraduate Courses

Applications for undergraduate or honours degrees can be made for either Semester 1 or Semester 2 teaching periods.

  • During August to January, applications for Semester 1 must be made through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC)
  • Applications outside of this date for admission to Semester 1 can be made through our online application tool
  • Semester 2 applications can be made all year round using our online application tool.

Postgraduate courses

Applications for admission to coursework postgraduate courses can be made using our online application tool.

  • From August to November, applications for Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary or Secondary) courses must be made through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC). 
  • Outside of these dates you can make an application for admission using our online application tool.

Some Postgraduate courses require additional documentation

  • For more information on Postgraduate Veterinary Science courses please follow this link, and select the course you are interested in from the menu on the left of the screen.
  • Postgraduate Counselling and Psychology courses require the following:
