Secondary Education
To nurture and inspire the young minds of the future is one of the highest aspirations. As a Secondary Teacher you will play a multi-faceted role in the development of knowledge, skills and resources that young people require to meet their goals.
A Secondary Education degree allows you to combine your passion, for instance, for drama and theatre or the natural environment with the techniques to pass on this knowledge to others. As a Secondary Teacher Education graduate you will be qualified to teach one or more subjects at the secondary school level.
For a qualification in Secondary Teacher Education you will take the Bachelor of Education studied concurrently with a Bachelor's degree that is relevant to one of the following learning areas in secondary schools: English, Drama, Media, Society and Environment, Science, Mathematics, Languages Other Than English LOTE; English as a Second Language ESL.
