Secondary Education and Sports Science

As a Health and Physical Education teacher Years 7-12 you must be competent in guiding your students through some pretty tenuous growth processes. Combine these skills with a natural ability in developing their knowledge, skills and ideals and you will be remembered forever!
A joint degree in Secondary Education and Sports Science allows you to combine your passion for working with young people while promoting an active lifestyle in a range of areas:
- Physical Education
- Coaching and Officiating
- Health Education
- Human Biology
- Science
As a Secondary Education and Sports Science graduate you will be qualified to teach at least two or more subjects at the secondary school level. This course will enable you to teach Health and Physical Education, Human Biology and Secondary Science years 7-10. Many schools will be interested in your additional coaching and officiating qualifications that are achieved in this course.
