Make a difference in children's lives with Primary Education

In this course, you'll learn how to encourage young children to learn and become the best they can be.

Enjoy learning about education

Primary education begins the process of learning that will continue through life - so this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills you'll need to teach in a primary school.

You'll learn about the theory, practice and management of teaching, including the place and role of education, the characteristics of learners and the teaching-learning process. You'll also learn about the curriculum taught in schools today to prepare you for the profession of teaching.

Specialise in an area of interest

If you're passionate about a particular area of teaching, you can combine your degree with a minor area of study. For example, a minor in Inclusive Education could lead to working with children who need more personal attention, or a minor in Drama could help you promote how the arts are important in a primary school student's life.

Graduates are recognised by the Western Australian College of Teaching (WACOT) as well as the respective State, Catholic and Independent school departments, organisations and associations.
