Postgraduate Diploma in Media Production

In this course, you'll build on your undergraduate degree to develop specialised skills in production projects such as short films, music and corporate videos, documentaries and information programming.


Learn from experienced industry professionals

Working closely with a supervisor in an area of your choice, you'll be taught and mentored by industry professionals including directors, producers, writers, cinematographers, and invited film-makers.

You'll get hands-on experience in creative development, scriptwriting, project visualisation, planning and pitching, working with industry clients. Your projects will include your own original work and commissioned productions.


Get your project funded

During this course you'll build a portfolio to showcase your production skills to employers throughout the screen industries. You'll also have the chance to pitch for a grant of up to $15,000 to help bring your screen ideas to reality. The special Murdoch Production Grants applications will be considered by a panel of screen industry professionals.
