Congratulations on deciding to apply for admission here at Murdoch University!
Before you begin your application we want to make sure you have all the right details you need to be able to fill out your online application correctly.
What kind of student will you be?

- If you wish to make a postgraduate research application please contact the Graduate Centre directly on 08 9360 6506 or scholars@murdoch.edu.au.
- If you are a Non-Award, Continuing Education or Short Course applicant please contact the Prospective Students’ and Admissions Centre directly for advice and application forms. Call us on 1300 MURDOCH (1300 6873624) or email admissions@murdoch.edu.au
- Closing dates: Applications for Semester 2 internal study close July 22. Applications for Semester 2 external/distance education study close July 15.

Your steps to apply online
Simply follow the steps below to complete your application online.
Step 1
- Make sure you have checked you are eligible to make an online application from the information shown above.
Step 2
- Make sure you know the name of the course you wish to apply for and that you have the course details available, in particular you will need our Murdoch course code. You can find this on the “Details” page for the course you wish to apply for. Visit our courses section to make sure.
If you’re an Honours applicant you will need to select your course details from our handbook. You will also need to complete and attach your Honours Proposal pdf to your online application.
Step 3
- For certain courses you may be required to submit a personal statement and your academic transcript so make sure you have these ready in a suitable electronic format (Word, PDF etc) so you will be able to upload it with your application.
We will be unable to process your application without this step being complete. Please note that we will need to cite original or certified copies of your transcripts to finalise your application. Please post or hand deliver these to: Prospective Students' and Admissions Centre, Murdoch University, South Street MURDOCH WA 6150.
