Graduate Diploma in Education Studies

In this 12 month course, you'll combine Education Studies with specialist studies in an area of your choice to continue your professional development as a teacher, or forge a new career in education.

Flexible options to help you achieve your career goals

You can apply for this course if you're a teacher who wants to specialise in a particular area, boost your qualifications from three to four years, or if you have a degree in any field and would like to develop a background in education. Please note, this course is not an initial teaching qualification.

Choose your area of specialist studies

If you already have a teaching qualification, you can broaden you teaching experience in your choice of area: Early Childhood Education, Mathematics Education, Media Education, Inclusive Education, Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or Teaching Languages Other Than English (LOTE).

If you have an undergraduate degree in any field (including, but not necessarily teaching), you can specialise in Australian Indigenous Education, Environmental Education, Theology and Education or another area of your choice.
