Graduate Diploma in Education Secondary

Teaching secondary students and learning how to engage with the adolescent mind can lead you to some exciting career opportunities.

Please note: Applications for Semester 2, 2013 are now open. Applications will close on the 7th of June 2013.

Get qualified for a new career in teaching

Take your qualifications in a new direction as you learn to inspire students with the passion you have for your learning area and build creative learning environments.

If you have a Bachelor's degree in a non-Education field that's relevant to teaching then this course will give you a qualification that's recognised by the WA College of Teaching, state education departments and independent schools. You'll be prepared for teaching in your major area of study and have the opportunity of teaching in another area of expertise if appropriate.

Gain practical experience in a range of placements

As you progress through this course, you'll be involved in a range of practical placements. These will increase in intensity over the course of your degree, so you can adjust to working in classrooms and gradually take on more responsibility.

Take your passion to a new level with postgrad study at Murdoch

Postgrad study is all about developing your passion further, a one-degree-fits-all approach just simply doesn't work for everybody.

We're flexible about what and how you choose to study - and we employ great academic thinkers who care about helping you along your new path.

If you find this course isn't quite what you were looking for, give us a call or drop an email to work out an option right for you.
