Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education
If you're a qualified primary school teacher, this course will help you to specialise in early childhood education, which involves teaching kindergarten through to Year 3 students.
Have a positive influence on childhood development
A student's first years at school can have an incredible impact on the rest of their education, and their life. In this course, you'll become qualified to make a difference to help young people get the best start possible. You will study theories of play and development, learning and pedagogy for young children and research the practical implications of implementing an integrated early childhood curriculum.
Follow your passion for education
To apply for this course, you need to have a recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training. If you're not a qualified teacher but you've had at least two years of relevant and full-time teaching experience recently, you may be able to apply. In this case, this course is not the same as an initial teaching qualification.
