Environmental Technology
While technological advancement has been one of the great causes of environmental damage to our world it also holds the key to reversing this damage and providing us with a sustainable future.
As an Environmental Technology student you'll learn how to tackle the issues and find solutions to the problems of pollution and waste disposal through the clever use of technologies and contribute significantly to today's on-going conservation efforts. You'll be provided with the basics of environmental science and its application in technologies all centred on the core themes of water, food, renewable energy and sustainable construction.
You'll learn about the integration of waste management and industry, recycling and resource management as well as a strong emphasis on public policy and practical application. You'll work closely with our internationally recognised Environmental Technology Centre on real problems and real solutions.
