With this three year course you will learn to use and adapt off the shelf' equipment and processes to create and modify both software and hardware to optimise use of resources and efficiency. You'll also use engineering principles for the design, manufacture, installaltion, commissioning, operation and maintenance of plants and equipment.You'll choose from four specialisations:
- Industrial Computer Systems Engineering
- Instrumentation and Control Engineering
- Electrical Power Engineering
- Renewable Energy Engineering
Depending on your specialisation you could be working on various plants including power energy systems or manufacturing plants.
Enjoy a variety of choice
This course gives you the option to take up engineering technologist roles for a variety of industries. You will work as part of a team, implementing engineering processes.You'll also have the chance build on your degree and upgrade to the Bachelor of Engineering in just one more year of study and become a professional engineer.
