Learn to power the world with Electrical Power Engineering

This course will teach you the skills to meet the electrical supply demands of the modern world.

Light up your world... and ours

With this course you will learn to construct power plants that meet supply demands, and are both low cost and reliable. You'll also explore other forms of energy generators and distribution systems, learning about analysis, operation and control.

Along with traditional forms of power generation you'll focus on the generation of electricity from other sources, including thermal, nuclear, hydro, solar, fuel cells and wind.

With a required 500 hours minimum approved work experience you will also gain essential practical, hands-on skills.

A wide range of industrial applications of power electrical systems means you'll have the opportunity to explore a range of career opportunities within the field of power generation.
