Current Events

The Careers team promote and host various events throughout the year to assist students and recent graduates with career development and job search strategies. We partner with Schools and Industry to offer a number of on-campus and off-campus events for students which include Employability Workshops/Presentations, Careers Fairs/Expos, Career Boot Campus, Employer Presentations and other Industry Networking Events.

Workshops and Presentations

Career Development Advisors deliver professional employability workshops and presentations with up to date knowledge on current industry trends and job search strategies.

Careers Fairs and Expos

The Careers centre host and promote various Careers Fairs and Expos throughout the year. Many of these events are run on campus, whilst others are held off campus in conjunction with industry partners.

Access Experience Careers Fair

Held annually during semester two, the Careers team host the Access Experience Careers Fair. It is our major on-campus networking event promoting Volunteering, Internships, Vacation Work, Work Experience and other on-the-job opportunities for all Murdoch students. Get the experience you need whilst still at university and give yourself the edge!

Employer Presentations

Employer presentations provide students with the opportunity to learn about discipline specific graduate programs and student opportunities. The Careers team are committed to maintaining strong links with industry groups to facilitate student and employer engagement. These presentations are held throughout semester one and semester two. Discipline Specific Events

In addition to general employability workshops and presentations, discipline specific job search sessions and industry networking events are also provided and are organised with the support of Student Advisors and Academic Staff through the relevant school.
