In this practical Introduction to Applied Project Management workshop, participants will be introduced to the dynamic discipline of modern project management. They will be familiarised with what it takes to be a modern project manager: What the role encompasses, what the responsibilities of project management entail, how to plan a project via the key knowledge areas of scope, time, cost, quality, risk, procurement, human resources, communication and integration, as well as dealing with the complexities of managing and leading project teams.

Being responsible for taking on a business or technical project from concept to successful completion can be a very stressful endeavour; however, knowing how to setup, manage and lead a project successfully can make a project manager a vital asset in any type of organisation.
