Welcome to the Biotech out of the Box website

"Biotech out of the Box" is a resource designed to support W.A. high schools in presentation of the biotechnology content introduced by the Curriculum Council of W.A. to biology and human biology courses. The program provides loan kits for learning about DNA electrophoresis in schools, teacher and technician training, and curriculum aligned kit activities.

At this site you will be able to view the availability of loan kits and book them, express interest in upcoming training sessions and other activities, and provide us with feedback about your experience of the kits so that we can use your suggestions to improve the program.

Bookings now available for 2014

Kit bookings are now available for 2014.  We  have nine kits available for loan to metropolitan and country schools, and  these kits can be booked for your school's use by checking the kit availability calendar and submitting an online booking form.  We will confirm your booking by email.
