KDU University College, Malaysia

KDU University College is located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. KDU College was established in 1983 and is a pioneer in Malaysian private education. The Petaling Jaya campus was one of the first private colleges in Malaysia to have its own purpose built campus.

KDU University College has embraced an extensive SMART Initiative Project to ensure that the College advances into the next millennium employing information technology for research and teaching purposes. In 2006 KDU was awarded MSC status marking the Malaysian Government's official recognition of the College's role and commitment in addressing the educational needs of the IT industry as well as making Malaysia a regional hub for IT education and training.



KDU prides itself on an impressive alumni of more than 46,000 graduates many of whom have successfully transferred to universities courses to further their studies and become competent graduates who excel in their workplace. The College's high standards of academic provision are well recognised by employers of various industries and universities worldwide.

In October 2010, KDU College Petaling Jaya was awarded and upgraded to university college status by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, and is now known as KDU University College.
