Admission requirements for Transnational (TNE) students are identical to those for onshore students at the home campus; these requirements are set by the University at its absolute discretion and Murdoch University controls admission and advanced standing, independent of the Transnational Partner.

Applications should be forwarded by the Transnational Partner, to the Student Services team in the Murdoch Singapore Office on an ongoing basis and should reach them no later than two weeks prior to the commencement of the teaching period for which admission is sought. Notwithstanding this deadline, Murdoch University may, at its discretion, accept an application for admission up to the end of week 2 of the teaching period.

Admissions in Singapore

Kaplan is responsible for marketing and recruitment of Transnational students in Singapore, including receiving applications. These applications are provided to the Murdoch Singapore Office, where they are assessed for both Admission and Advanced Standing, and processed by the Student Services team.

CPE has mandated that the Transnational Partner must enter into a standard Private Education Institution Student Contract with each student, applicable to all transnational courses. CPE requires that the Private Education Institution (PEI) and TNE student must sign a contract for any course with a duration of more than two months. The contract must show the course details including the commencement and conclusion of the course, and the full course schedule. A complete study plan must be included in the student contract. The study plan is derived from information that is provided by the TNE Liaison Team, as approved by the Academic Chair.
