Murdoch’s Course Agreements with Transnational Partners includes a provision for the Transnational Partner to request that students complete unit and teaching evaluations in accordance with Murdoch’s requirements.
Murdoch Dubai
Unit and teaching surveys in Dubai are managed by the Office of Strategy, Quality and Analytics’ Survey and Evaluations Team. The surveys are administered online using the software Blue and are made available via MyFeedback.
The Survey and Evaluations Team email all Unit Coordinators to inform them surveys will be conducted for the current teaching period just after the halfway point of the Trimester. Unit Surveys are run automatically for all units with 2 or more enrolments; while Teaching surveys must be requested by the UC prior to the end of Week 9 of Trimester.
Reports are released after students have received their final grade and results of unit and teaching surveys will be accessible to the Unit Coordinators, College Pro Vice Chancellors, School Deans, PVC TNE & Singapore Dean, Dubai Dean and Manager via MyFeedback. Furthermore, Affiliate Lecturers who are evaluated in teaching surveys can also access their individual results.
Murdoch Singapore
Kaplan Singapore conduct their own evaluations at the end of the Trimester and then share them with Murdoch's Surveys and Evaluations Team. Students are invited to participate by accessing the QR codes displayed in classes linking to surveys. Kaplan then provide the outcomes to the TNE Team as well as the Lecturer, Learning and Teaching who reviews the information and arranges for Affiliate development as required.
The Surveys and Evaluations Team upload the Kaplan results to PowerBI so that results can be viewed and analysed over time. (Please Note: The differences in methodology, scale and reporting provide there is very limited comparability to onshore surveys).
The TNE Team then provide Unit Reports to Pro Vice Chancellors, School Deans, School Associate Deans Learning and Teaching, PVC TNE & Singapore Dean. Meanwhile, Lecturer and Unit Evaluations featuring mean scores of each unit are provided to Unit Coordinators.
